In 2009 I thought my life was over. I was a bit of a dramatic 19 year old, but it certainly felt that way. Due to the 2008 stock market collapse my loans for film school default and I had to leave my college dorm in Chicago to a place I’ve barely heard of called Shreveport Louisiana…little did I know when my brother-in-law and I were making that 16 hour drive, I was driving toward my destiny…and the whole time, I thought my life was over.
